A Project Controls Manager focuses on controlling the project by implementing measures and controls ensuring compliance to standards and contract adherence. Project Controls Managers monitor and control the project cost and schedule

outcomes  of the project and ensure that planned work is on-track, thus frees up the Project Managers’ time. They ensure detail descriptions of project scope, schedule, cost, resources, and risks are provided.

Key Functions

Project Controls Manager

Develop and maintain project management plans, including project integration, scope, schedule, cost, and integrated change control management plans.

Project Controls Manager

Develop detail work breakdown structures (WBS) and WBS dictionaries.

Project Controls Manager

Ensure schedule and budget development and control of schedules, baselines, costs, and project finances.

Project Controls Manager

Implement and maintain project document controls ensuring the development, maintenance, and use of project templates.

Project Controls Manager

Ensure formal project communications takes place and follow good practices including period project progress reports.
