Earned Value Management is a methodology that combines a project’s scope, schedule, and resource measurements to assess project performance and progress. This is a leading practice in measuring performance and controlling projects.

The Earned Value Management course teaches participants the necessary skills to use Earned Value principles and calculations on projects to develop quantitative performance data to control projects and make informed decisions about the project. Participants will learn how to track past performance and forecast project schedule and cost outcomes. The results will aid participants in deciding when corrective actions are required to keep their projects on track.

Bennie Havenga
We thoroughly enjoyed your presenter's approach to the course content - He thoroughly covered the theoretical aspects before engaging us in the mathematical application of these principles. We had ample opportunity to engage with the presenter, to clarify aspects of the covered content, as well as to share practical experience from our perspective. We appreciated the fact that the presenter acknowledged our unique position with relation to project work at IMPALA, with approval for funding normally preceding detail design and tender processes, introducing additional risk to our projects. I am quite interested in attending further courses, specifically on developing meaningful Work Breakdown Structures for our individual projects. Thank you for sharing you knowledge with us and keep up the good work. Regards, Johannes Pretorius
