The Project Management Professional Exam Preparation (PMP) workshop assists you in improving your knowledge of project management in preparation of the PMP examination. Unlike other certifications that focus on a particular geography or domain, the international PMP certification can lead to project management work in virtually any industry, using various methodologies and/or in any possible location. The PMP helps you understand the global language of project management and enables you to better connect with the global project management community. The workshop focuses on the following knowledge areas: initiating projects; planning projects; executing projects; monitoring and controlling projects; and closing projects.

There are two options of course delivery, you can either choose the contact session option or the virtual/live session option. The contact sessions are held in-person while the virtual/live sessions are held online.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
The course has no prerequisites but eligibility to write the exam and gain certification is strictly prescribed. The prerequisites to becoming PMP® certified are:
A four-year degree, 36 months leading projects, and 35 hours of project management education/training (PPM or equivalent) or CAPM® Certification
- OR -
A Grade 12 certificate or the global equivalent, 60 months leading projects and 35 hours of project management education/training (PPM or equivalent) or CAPM® Certification. Delegates are advised to book to write the exam 1–2 months after the course. This must be done through the PMI at www.pmi.org
