A Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing groups of projects, programs and/or sub-portfolios. They focus on understanding the impact of numerous business interventions on the bottom line of the business. Strategy translation, trade-offs, scenario planning, portfolio balancing, and benefits measurements all form part of the role. The Portfolio Manager monitors the progress of the portfolio and reports back to senior management.
Program Manager
A Program Manager ensures that the overarching business goal of a group of individual projects, that all provide shared benefits toward the goal, is achieved. The Program Manager focusses on the integration of the benefits and manages the interdependencies that might exist between the individual projects. The Program Manager is responsible for the overall delivery of the program.
Project Controls Manager
This function is responsible for controlling the project. Project Controls Managers monitor and control the project cost and schedule outcomes of the project and ensure that planned work is on track. They are responsible for the monitoring and control of quality work progress as well as cost control. They make sure that everything is one time and within budget.

Skilled Risk Managers will utilise leading practices and tools to manage and control the project risks throughout the project life cycle. Risk Managers are especially valuable to clients executing large and complex capital projects where risks proliferate quickly.

A Project Administrator takes the administration burden off the Project Managers and project team members. The Project Administrator provides support for all general project communication, document management, arrangement of meetings, travel, accommodation, keeping of minutes, maintaining project registers, and project team and office housekeeping. A project cannot be successful without efficient project administration. A project is destined to failure without good project administration due to disorganisation and inefficiency.
Cost Controller
The Cost Controller is responsible for controlling the project’s cost. These services include planning for costs, cost estimating, budget development and control, cost projecting, analysis, and reporting. They report to Project Controllers or Project Managers and are responsible for establishing the document control processes and procedures on the project. Once these processes and procedures are implemented, they enforce that all relevant stakeholders adhere to the stipulated standards. They apply document configuration management and ensure that documents are correctly named, numbered, stored.
